Glocal Environment & Social Association (GESA) offers three types of memberships:-
(1) LIFE MEMBERS:
Life members shall be the intellectual pool of the association. They shall be active voting members. Any individual having good faith in the objectives of the association can become a life member by completing formalities.
- Eligibility: Graduation in any discipline; higher and professional qualification in the field of Science, Technology or Humanities is desirable.
- Duration: Life membership is valid for 10 years from the date of commencement (May be extended for 5 or more years).
- Fee: Rs. 5,000/-
- Benefits:
- Voting right in general election.
- Participation in all activities of the association.
- Testimonials for membership; entitled to suffix MGESA after his/her name.
- Rebate in products and services of the association.
- May be awarded Fellowship of the Association in any GESA conference or during its annual session. The fellow of GESA is entitled to suffix FGESA after his/her name.
(2) GENERAL (ANNUAL) MEMBERS:
Any individual having good faith in the objectives of the association can become a general member and can get benefits of the process, product, and services of the association for a limited period of one year.
- Eligibility: Any stake holder/ students with Graduation in any discipline; higher/ professional qualification is desirable.
- Duration: General membership is valid for a period of one year from the date of commencement.
- Fee: Rs. 1,100/-
- Benefits:
- Participation in selected activities of the association for a period of 01 year.
- Testimonials for excellent performance in any field of science and society.
- Rebate in products and services of the association for limited period.
(3) PATRON MEMBERS:
These members shall be inspirational guides and torch bearers of the association. They shall be selected by the management committee of GESA based on their excellent contribution to the science, environment and society.
- Eligibility: Commendable contribution to the society in the field of science & technology, healthcare, arts, legal services, education, research & development, social works, spiritual wellness, environment and conservation of nature; preferably senior citizen.
- Duration: This type of membership is valid till pleasure of GESA President.
- Fee: Not decided so far.
- Benefits:
- Invitation to participate in activities of the association.
- Felicitation for their contribution to the Nature and society.
- Rebate in products and services of the association.
- Fellowship of the Association at the discretion of management committee of GESA.
Note: No member of any category can transfer a membership or any right arising there from. All rights of membership shall automatically cease upon the demise of the member. There shall be no provision for refund of any membership or monetary contribution made in favour of the association in any circumstance.
